Thank You to the Business Leaders Who Supported the AJC Rookies Research Project

This summer, Lucia Jones led the first AJC Rookies research project for AJC Company.

As part of the project, she interviewed local business leaders to better understand current business opportunities, challenges, and whether there may be a place for high school graduates, late high school students, and early college students to support companies through focused, professionally managed project work.

Before we share the full event recap and research findings, we wanted to pause and recognize the people and companies who made the project possible.

Lucia created a short photo reel featuring the interviewees and their business logos. It is a simple thank-you to the leaders who generously shared their time, perspective, and ideas.

You can watch the Interviewee Reel below!

Why This Project Mattered

The AJC Rookies idea started with a practical question: could capable young people help local businesses complete useful project work if the projects were clearly scoped and professionally managed? The interviews helped us begin exploring that question while giving Lucia the chance to practice professional outreach, interviewing, listening, follow-up, and research synthesis with real business leaders.

Thank You to Our Interviewees

Thank you to every leader who participated, encouraged Lucia, shared ideas, and helped shape the early thinking behind AJC Rookies. We will share more about the research findings and the August 17 Appreciation Event in a separate post. For now, this reel is simply a thank-you to the people and companies who helped make the project possible.
